YMAX MagicJack USB DVD/CD-rom error

Post by marrickard »

what driver or program is missing for this, I have a yellow exclamation in device manager for this

YMAX MagicJack USB Device dvd/cd-rom drive
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing (Code 39)

I also do not have 2 drives showing as everyone is mentioning I have just F: Phone showing
Nothing mentioning MagicJack Or Vista under My computer only drives are C: hard drive and F: Phone

No soft panel on the desktop, Light is blue and on tried numerous chats with techs, I can not get this resolved any help will
be great.

Does your PC have a normal CD or DVD drive physically installed? If so, is it working properly? Does it have a drive letter? If yes, the drivers for MJ should be the same. If your CD or DVD does not work, fix that first. If there isn't one installed, do you have one that you can try (either USB or internal)? Also, is this a new installation, or did something break? What OS?

The last Tech I spoke to told me to uninstall its a cd+dvd burner <- her explanation was its was causing conflicted with the magicjack

Will that solve the issue on the missing Magicjack (vista) drive also?

I followed your suggestion and the problem is fix.

I reinstall the cd dvd rom driver that was missing and that solved the magicjack issue. Ty for the suggestion.
