Mysipswitch software combined with MJMD5

If someone has a server we can install mysipswitch on, it would be very possible to mod it with MJMD5 to provide a solution to the ATA issue.

Can some others chime in on this type of solution and where we might be able to host the applications?

Yeah, that is really a great idea. Hopefully, they can do that on sipsorcery as well.

A server based solution like sipsorcery does look like the best option to get ATAs back up. I am wondering if there might even be an easier way by creating a multiuser MJMD5 app running on a server. Does anyone know where we could possibly host such an application since I would guess we would need access to port 5070. Would it be possible to write an application to use port 80 and a regular webhost?

not without socks, modrewrite, mysql, and curl on apache I would gather, but free hosts do offer these things

I would also venture that one could tunnel and/or forward ports from a home server more easily, but between sipsorcery and mysipswitch it is a nice idea.

mjmd5 on xxwrt works flawlessly over my cisco vpn though, despite callerid names coming through unidentified, but then there is a sacrifice for not writing code one's self.
