I make calls using GV without a computer all the time. Simply call your GV number like you would to listen to your voicemail. Listen to the voice prompts and it will ask you to press #2 if you want to make a call.
Also when someone leaves you voicemail GV will ask if you want to return the call.

If Gizmo5 is your only outgoing service, you will need to purchase Gizmo credit in order to call your GV number, or any number for that matter, with the exception of toll-free numbers which are free to dial.

I accomplish calls application GV after a computer all the time. Simply alarm your GV amount like you would to accept to your voicemail. Accept to the articulation prompts and it will ask you to columnist #2 if you wish to accomplish a call.

Also if anyone leaves you voicemail GV will ask if you wish to acknowledgment the call.

I'm also making calls directly from my PDA (Samsung Omnia; Windows Mobile 6). I use a little freeware app you can find on supware.net called iDialer. It works great but you have to be logged in from your device since I occasionally get a Google Voice error.

The other way from a PDA is simply go to google.com/voice/m and either dial directly or from your contacts.

Finally, I believe there is a for $$$ product named GVDialer for $5 or $10. Haven't tried it.
