Problems opening .clm files

Hello,

I've received a .CLM file of a call log via email, but am having a hard time opening the document on the computer. I've tried opening it on notepad and excel as advised on other random forums, but have had no luck.

Can someone please assist me with information as to how I can open the document or what program to use to convert it, if possible.

Also, can someone direct me to the actual url that allows one to "chat" with assistance on magicjack.com seeing that there is no customer service line to dial?

I have been to http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r207874 ... k-CLM-file . That was actually the other forum that got me trying to open the document on notepad,word, excel, etc.

However, if you actually read the forum, the last two posts read:

BobInMaine: "Using Excel to view the clm file really is not much help to anyone as date is stored as number of seconds 1/1/1970. The number of calls stored in the clm file is limited to 255. I have done some reverse engineering on the file and have an Excel macro that generates a worksheet with info identical to the calls list in MagicJack. It still needs to be refined. Once completed it will be posted somewhere for downloading."

In other words, an ultimate solution was never posted on that forum, which is why I'm reaching out to this forum in hopes of someone actually knowing how to open the .clm file rather than just copying and pasting a link to another forum that leaves the question still afloat.

Did you do a Google search on CLM files?? LOTS of different listings. Not sure if they are of any help to you.
Did you try viewing the CLM file with a hex viewer and see what you info you can get from it?
