International Connect to Greece

MJ will not complete a call to country code 30, Greece. The number of minutes is announced and then the line rings two or three times and goes to dial tone. A connect is rare. Country codes 49 and 44, London and Frankfort, always connect. I am calling from the 619 area code.

Any solution?

Thanks to everyone who responded.

I found a solution after spending some time reading and searching this site. The solution, for me, calling Greece, is to insert an asterisk (*) in the city code. This causes a change in carriers, according to posts on this site, and connects almost every time. Voice quality is good to excellent. I only need the asterisk when calling Greece. All calls to domestic US numbers and other international locations work without the asterisk.

Have you taken this problem up with tech support? It seems like a problem deep inside MJ and the telcos involved.

Is it possible the line is busy. That's normal with MJ when the called number is busy.

worked nicely for me yesterday, calling from FL. Check with MJ support, they can be very helpful.! Good luck
