Outgoing N.G, Incoming calls AOK

]I am a new ( 2 month ) subscriber. Persistent problem; When i place a call, there is a tiny interrupt every few seconds, like a pulse. I hear it as does the person on the other end. Depending on the conversation, we have to ask for a repeat of what was said.............Incoming, no problem, perfect connection.

I have switched phones, used my laptop, changed USB ports,nothing solves this.

Anybody have ideas? Thanks.

If not already done:
turn off all power saving including sound and usb roots
someone has suggested turning off Windows Defender also.
