SpeedConnect Internet Accelerator
I am wondering if an internet accelerator program such as SpeedConnect will help in improving MJ's sound quality? anybody uses this kind of program?
Re: SpeedConnect Internet Accelerator
Personally, I don't. Typically, VoIP uses very little bandwidth. Using the G.711 coding algorithm, you only require about 80kbps IP bandwidth. Both DSL and Cable easily handle this amount of bandwidth.vnecaxa wrote:I am wondering if an internet accelerator program such as SpeedConnect will help in improving MJ's sound quality? anybody uses this kind of program?
Now, if you are downloading torrents and music at the same time as trying to use your magicJack, then, you might start seeing issues.
What kind of sound quality problems are you experiencing?

I hear "hissing" sounds when I use MJ. I tried 7 different phones, reduced the volume on the headset and does not improve. I do not use anything else when using MJ.
