Can't get into MagicJack's Tech Chat

Post by dsdeiz »

Hello, I'm having an error 400 on my magicjack. I believe it was working on my brother's end in the US. He registered it there. He sent it to me so I could keep in touch with him but when I tried it, it gave me the error. It was said in this thread ( http://www.phoneservicesupport.com/a-so ... t3169.html ) to have the tech support refresh the account but I could not get into http://magicjack.com/techchat/. After clicking the techchat banner, a page just popup but was blank.. Any help regarding contacting them or fixing the error 400?

Thanks!

Try another Browser for your Chat. If you don't have another Browser - download one.

If you're outside the US, make sure that your ISP isn't blocking SIP. Try running a VOIP test at http://myspeed.visualware.com/voip/ and see what happens. If you can't run the VOIP tests, its not MJ, its your ISP blocking the required ports.

If you are outside the US, try to use IE8 and also visit their site anonymously using public proxy sites..

There are problems with that. Try www.voipreview.org/voipspeedtester.aspx
