Garbled On The receiving End

I have been having this problem for quite some time -- on 2 different MJs, two different computers (desktop & laptop) and on both a wired and non-wired phone (im on vista 32).

The people I am talking to constantly complain I am breaking up -- they sound generally fine to me. I have tried the mic and speaker settings -- no difference.

Any other simple suggestions (short of all the playing around with usb port settings and other OS changes)? Anyone else having this problem?

I have a MJ, I am on my second phone, the first was an at&t, took it back and got a Uniden 5.8 GHz. Still fuzzy and people have trouble hearing me. Does anyone have any solutions to this?
