My magicJack device has stopped working when connected to my iMac. It worked for about a month but starting giving "Error 3" yesterday. It was working the day before. If I plug the MJ into my WinXP laptop, things are fine.
There has been no changes to network or security settings on the iMac. I did install Open Office. I can't see how that would affect the MJ.
I spent 7 1/2 HOURS with 14 different techs on chat support with MJ doing the same things over and over. (like reformatting the device, setting new DNS entries, ensuring the apple firewall was open, ensuring that it is not the network router (but it works on the XP machine)).
Anybody got any new ideas to try out?
