is ther anyway of taking the information from majicjack and flashing it to the chip of a vonage vportal device. so to get away from using a computer.but using the setup from a used vonage device that is no longer in service.
really like majic jack but is it me or would it be better to flash a bin to a vonage model vdv21-vd device???
is there a way to usb software dump the info. or jtag it?
if this is a stupid ? or a wrong ? to ask here than please excuse me for not knowing any better.
my computer knowlege only gets me this far.
any ideas or help to this matter????
or is this a impossible thing to do???
or for that matter a waste of time????

thank u for pointing me in the rite direction.
im looking thru the forums and learning at the same time.
yes newbee here for this type of new project.
i see that there is some type of firmware that they flash on lynksis modems that are broadcom based chips.
but those chip IDs are different. dont know if that flash will work on a broadcom bcm1111kpbg.
not very much info in this chip.
but again im a newbee and looking into as much of what i can understand.
thank you for your help
