SPA2102 Not Working w/Magicjack - Some Interesting Info

I have some more information. I don't know if this will be helpful or not, but I wanted to share it. There seems to be a pattern of which MJs work with SPA2102 and which don't.

1. A friend of mine purchased two MJs at the same time. I don't know how long ago this was, but it was a while. One of the MJs was activated about a month ago. The other was registered this past Thursday. The one that was activated last month works fine with user/pass in SPA2102. The one registered last Thursday does not work.

2. My MJ, which was activated in the middle of August, works fine with user/pass in SPA2102.

3. Another friend who has had his MJ active for about 6 weeks has no problem using his user/pass in a SPA2102.

4. Another friend, who has had an MJ for over a year, gave me his MJ to get the user/pass from. Upon putting it in my USB port it got a "lucky you" update. It will not work with user/pass in SPA2102.

5. Two freshly purchased, just activated MJs, were inserted in USB and activated. I immediately took user/pass from both MJs. Neither works with SPA2102.

My questions are below, and were in a previous post which I deleted to avoid duplicate posting.

I would really appreciate the insight from some of you. I have just started playing around with SPA2102, and I know some of you are pretty seasoned at this.

I am not using MJMD5 (not even sure what it is). I am using nothing more than the SPA2102 plugged into my router. It works perfectly using my personal MJ, but anything newly registered just doesn't seem to work. It will not register.

I have been setting up Linksys SPA2102 adapters to work with Magicjack. What I am finding is that when a Magicjack has been used for a while, the SPA2102 works fine when the user/pass info from MJ is put into SPA2102.

But, when I register a new MJ and take the user/pass info from the newly registered MJ, I get no dial tone from the SPA2102.

Is there something I need to do with the newly registered MJ in order for the user/pass that I get from it to work in the SPA2102? Or, is there something I need to do with the SPA2102 to get it to work with a newly registered MJ?

So far, this is 100% of the time. I have 6 SPA2102 units. The SPA2102 units containing user/pass from MJs that have been in use for a while work fine. The SPA2102 units that have user/pass from newly registered MJs do not work.

I am almost certain that I am overlooking something, but don't know what it is.

This site is very comprehensive, so I figure that someone here will surely know what I am doing incorrectly.
