so being a brand new user, to the magicjack system
when i set up my magic jack it asked me if i wanted a special vanity number -
and i was like yeah for sure, but i didn't want to pay the additional $10 bucks, until i was sure - that magicjack even worked!
so i chose just some regular number, and once i realized that magic jack did function -
and was worth the $10, to get a cooler looking number
I AM NOT ABLE TO DO SO AT ALL!
i tried the phone number change, but the vanity is still not an available option any-longer!
i've also been told by magicjack chat, that you must get the vanity number right away, because once you get your first number - you are not allowed/able to get this vanity number any longer?!?
COME ON MAGICJACK! just take my $10 bucks, and give me a cool new number -
any ideas?!?
sucks man my cellular number ends in 4444 so i wanted to match my numbers up, but now i cant!
-Use the chat help again, but state you want your problem elevated to a higher level, just to see if they really won't give in. After all, you are willing to pay.
-Get a GV number, try for a 4444 extension, then have it ring your MJ.
-Give your current MJ as a gift, and buy another one. (Tis almost the season.) Next time you register, you'll be wiser. If you give it as a gift, clear out your contacts, change the vmail email and 911 addresses to the giftee's, and don't forget to tell them the password, so they'll be able to extend their subscription and/or make changes.
