Must connect to USB

This morning when I booted my computer MJ did not start. I double-clicked on the desktop icon and got the message: "Warning: You must plug Magic Jack into a USB port." How can I fix this problem?

SOMETIMES after your MJ has been plugged in for a while it needs to be reseated from time to time. For me it seems to happen once every few months or so. I unplug it and then plug it back in and all is well again ( you may need to reboot depending on how you have MJ configured).

hi, others have run into this problem, use the search option in these forums to search for your key words, I'd suggest "must plug usb port", that should bring up tips. It's fixable, not to worry.
