MJ no longer working correctly on either computer of mine...

Hi,
Let me try to explain what MJ is doing...

I hook it up to my laptop:
It's recognized and installs and works fine for a while, then out of the blue MJ softphone will simply disappear (it might be 40 minutes or it might be 40 hours later), it simply disappears and then brings up the loading MJ image (the one that looks like MJ) and tells me that it's not plugged in. I unplug it from the USB port and plug it in again and it loads up the software for another 40 minutes to 40 hours.

The laptop is running Windows XP, it does not sleep, or hybernate, and all usb ports are not allowed to power down according to the power options in XP.

I hook it up to my desktop running Windows 7:
It loads up the MJ softphone software and sits fine, I go to make a call and about 1 minute into the call, Im told that I've been put on hold when I have not. I try a call to my cell phone and once it starts ringing, I hang up my physical phone, and MJ doesn't disconnect, it keeps on the line until it gets my cell phone voice mail. It finally disconnects and I try to make another call, this time I can see that when I'm dialing the numbers on the phone it's lagging on the softphone often times 3 or more numbers behind what I'm dialing (which is unusual for this device), and before it can make the call, softphone simply disappears from the screen and task manager and the call is never made. Up comes the loading MJ image in the middle of the screen and softphone is loaded up again.

Two different computers, two seperate operating systems, what the heck is going on with this?

I have been having the same problem for the last few weeks. I found that if I click on the MJ drive with Windows Explorer MJ will restart. I am currently running a test with a minimized copy of Windows Explorer parked on the MJ drive. I won't know for another day if that makes any difference.
