How do I install mjproxy in DDWRT

I have MJ working with pap2t-na and running mjproxy on computer. I just got my wrt54g-tm and want to load mj proxy on router so I don't have to have computer on.

I have reviewed the sticky and am admittedly a little clueless. Is their another tutorial to show step by step how to load mjproxy to help a newbie.

Any help would be appreciated !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am following sticky directions, but cannot get past logging in to putty. It is stating login in correct. I am at a loss, due to being a newbie. Can anyone shed some light on what is going wrong.

change the user name on your router back to "root" and your password back to "admin" if you changed it.

I am having a problem installing mjproxy into router. I have tried as described and not having any luck. Is there any other directions or information to help me load this into router?

Unless you want, and will use all the bell and whistles that DD-WRT has to offer, I highly recommend switching from DD-WRT to Tomato 1.27 on this router. Tomato has a much simplified GUI and the tutorial on here (one of the stickies on this forum) for getting mjproxy going on this router with Tomato is excellent. Try that please, and let us know how it goes.

I have taken your advice and switched to Tomato. I have followed sticky until # 7. I enter chmod mjproxy to 755 and it says it can not be found. I am at a loss here, because I have no knowledge of programming linux. It appears that the mjproxy is not loading in router.

Also it says to Telnet, but doesn't show clicking telnet. I thought telnet used port 23. I am stumped at this level. Any help from here would be appreciated.

have you followed it step by step? did you download putty.exe?
do you have a /jffs?

you can do:

ls -l /jffs

after you telnet, and post the output here.

I followed everything step by step. I did install putty. I enables JFFS in the router. I do not know if I have a /JFF2 I don't recall seeing a step to add this, other then in tomato/admin.

I will check when I get home, and uodate this thread.
