How to keep Softphone from popping up on top of windows

Whenever magic jack is activated (calling, receiving, or randomly) the Softphone app pops up over whatever window I am in (Win XP SP3). Is there a way to disable this "feature"? I tried Powertoys Tweakui, and selected "do not steal focus" but that didn't work.
