There has got to be somebody who can help me with this one. Tech support doesn't seem to know anything.
Yesterday I was receiving incoming calls no problem, but today Anyone who calls me gets a error (501t) messege, like its been disconected or something. I can still make outgoing, but I really got the thing for an incoming line. Does anyone know what is going on, maybe? Maybe you have had this problem too?
Yes, I am having almost the exact same problem here....except the message to incoming callers is "this is a non-working number". Tech support was no help at all, they sent the problem up to "tier 2" whatever the heck that is, and I have to wait for them to contact me. Outgoing calls are working fine and the whole system was working perfectly just last night.
I am in the 928 area. I have run MagicFix, which says everything is working perfectly. I have no Jukebox software installed and I have deleted Roxio from my hard drive. The tech gave me a link to a restore program, which I have run and had no effect. I have attempted to call my MJ line from 3 cell phones and 2 land lines, all in the 928 area and all receiving the same "non-working number" error message....I believe the tech also had the same result, they asked for time to try my number then moved my claim to the next level.
The next level of tech support is supposed to contact me "asap". If I learn anything new, I will post it here.
Seems like, these days, most of the tech support staff I deal with are Hindu. Though, this would be a very fitting time for the resurrection of my MagicJack.

I had a call today that went dead as soon as I answered it. They called back and it worked and said they got "dead air" when they called. Maybe it's the holiday high call volume that messes things up. So far my phone works great most the time with an occasional bleep or blip or slight echo but nothing bad. Maybe the longer you have it the better it works. I have noticed that all the small problems are normally on the company end and not on the user end and they usually go away in a day or two. I did call all over the country today to say Happy Easter and it was nice knowing it was free, or next to it. Think I'll do the 5 years for 50 dollar deal!
I have heard people mention this Five for fifty deal. Would you provide me with a link to sign up for this?
Thanks,

Bad news on the 5 year deal-I just checked with the tech support and the deal is only for new customers that are ordering their first MJ-that sucks-owell-
I finally just heard back from tech support. They claimed that it must have been some sort of power outage or computer problem (or both) that required a reboot....being Easter, the reboot took longer than usual. He also informed me that it was not possible that the problem was caused by excessive holiday call volume.
It's happening again. All incoming callers are getting that stupid "not a working number" message. To make matters worse, tech chat isn't working and I only get a bewildering "please register MJ after 2am" message. This is turning into TragicJack!
These guys really suck. Tech support finally came online. They claim that they are doing upgrades.....I believe "upgrade" is MJ code for system failure.
