MJ on a old Xbox.

Post by Merc1032 »

Hey guys,

Has anyone tried using MJ on a old xbox?

Its very possible to run linux AND attach USB devices to a modded xbox, but the question is has anyone tried running MJ on it? Think it can be done?

Heres some info on XBL

Imlooking at doing away with using the computer and I know I could go the router route, or even get a TC, but if it can be done with this hardware I already have, why not right?

What do you all think!

Thanks!

Any luck with this? I have an XBOX running Linux. I agree, if others can use a magic jack with Linux, you should be able to do it with an XBOX running Linux. Other than CPU / RAM limitations, it is no different (at a high level) than any other PC running Linux.
I may give it a go...

it has a whopping 64 mb of ram. For mine, I set up 128 mb of swap space to add.
