I am using MagicJack for the last one month. Everything works great except I am having difficulty in joining the conference calls from home.
I work from home and frequently I join the conference calls and for each conference there is unique PIN number.
ex: 1-800-555-1212 PIN : 12345
But when I get connected to call it prompts me to enter the PIN number. At this time when I enter 12345 via phone handset, this in turn become 1122334455 ( each number is repeated). Obviously the PIN number is wrong so it prompts to enter the PIN number again.
To make it work, I have to be at the desktop computer (where MagicJack is hooked up) and click the PIN number using soft phone keypad (MagicJack application).
I tried different phones and different USB ports and still the same issue.
I tried contacting Magic Jack help desk but they haven't heard about this one.
Anybody ran into the same issue?
TIA
Cannot join conference calls (PIN number is not taken)

I have the exact same situation when I try to phone into any of the Armand Morin teleseminars, except after the pin is rejected I get auto connected to the Armand Morin teleseminar operator and I have to by voice give out the pin code number to get connected to the teleseminar. The solution is to use the soft phone keypad and listen to the teleseminar through the computer speakers.
I also have this problem sometimes with other webinars/teleseminars and they don't have an operator to give out by voice the pin code number. Now some of the teleseminars I have been able to connect by regular (magicJack) phone. Go figure what's up!

It appears to be one of a couple of issues that has happened with various phone #'s or Conference Call systems.
It might get resolved if you can get a hold of MJ Support folks and give them the exact phone #.

AIRTEL - Call to India
I have same issue when I am trying to call India using AIRTEL's too free number + 4 digit PIN
Any workaround guys, beside using the soft keypad?
