Garbled or Choppy audio at remote end of call

Has anyone got a good fix for choppy audio? I'm on my second year of MJ use and it has worked almost flawlessly until late December or early January. All my local calls seem great but all my long distance calls are crap.
I have identified my Proxy and VMS servers and forced my Proxy to a very lightly used server. The quality is a little better but not much.
My cable connection is pretty rock solid at 10-15Mbps down and 3-5mbps UP. My VOIP score is mos 5 with 0 packet loss and 87% quality.

Has anyone fixed this by talking to the idots at the 800#?

Have you tried running the downgrade to the Jan upgrade? It has fixed many problems. Worth a shot.

Format the HD part of MJ with PHONE at all default.

Format the HARD DRIVE? Did you mean the USB drives that MJ creates?
