Using an ASUS 2G Surf as Thin Client
Last month I bought a used ASUS PC 2G Surf (Intel Celeron 900 MHz, 512MB RAM and 2GB Hard Drive) on ebay for $45 plus shipping. After I formatted it with Windows XP Service Pack 1, changed the settings so it does not go into powersave mode, installed magicJack without a problem and it's been running perfect since day one. Sound is better than on my TC that I've been using for almost a year now. You guys might consider the ASUS as an alternative to the TC.
