I get this error whenever I plug in my MagicJack. It seems to have installed just fine but I can't get it to recognize my internet connection for some reason.
I've even disabled my Firewall and still nothing. I suppose it should be noted that I've had some problems the last few days with other programs including several different messengers. I can't get any of them to sign in so I'm guessing this is just a broad issue with my computer in general. Perhaps a virus or something?
I'm just wondering if there are any quick fixes with stuff like this or if anyone possibly knows what my exact problem could be? I'm not very good with computer related stuff.
If you're having similar problems with other Internet-related programs, I'd say it's your Internet connection between your PC and your service provider. How are you connected (DSL, cable, WiFi, etc.)? Are you connected through a router (via cable or wireless connection)? Have you tested your connection speed lately through your provider's website or some other testing site? You might want to contact your service provider's tech support for some ideas too. Just some thoughts to get you started.
