MJ down today from 3AM CST?

Friends ,
IS MJ Down at 3AM CST. Tried calling all th enumbers and it is silent.I can hear the dialtone and I can even dial the numbers but I can't hear the voice.Suppose if i dial my own number I can't hear the voice mail..
Anyone facing issue. Area code 314...

I had the same problem, I would dial out and nothing but dead air. However i was able to receive a call.........go fig.
Anyway all is fine hear now, must have been on there side not ours. By the way, I have a 773 area code.

I can receive calls but can't make any. The first tech support tried telling me it was my phone. The 2nd one did admit to new service system upgrades and that I may need to wait a few hours before I'll be able to call out. I'm CST too and have an 815 area code.

I am having the same problem now. Service is erratic at best. They should post a message on their website if they are experiencing technical problems or upgrading equip or whatever.
I do not know if I would ever use MJ as my sole carrier if this keeps up.

All incoming are being reported as disconnected.

Ditto with 619.

I was able to contact their tech support who actually was able to call me and connect. I, however, am not able to call myself, retrieve my voice mail or call out. I also have a dial tone.

The tech said they were having issues, which should be resolved later today.

BTW- Nice to have stumbled onto this site and learn i was not the only one with this problem.

Just here to say "me too." I can receive incoming calls, however, outgoing gives me nothing, but "trying to connect," for 30 seconds, then I get a fast busy. I've only had Magicjack since 3/24/08, and so far it's been O.K. I haven't decided yet whether or not I will keep it. My main problems so far are. 1. Caller ID won't display on phone (using 5.8 GHZ GE EDGE; model#25932EE1-A) I did read the resister fix, but have yet to try it. I bought it at Wal-Mart for $24.99 U.S. 2. Today I can't make outgoing calls. So far, I've spent a total of 2-3 hrs. talking and the quality is pretty good. I've had only one problem with the connection breaking up, but a quick call back fixed it.

Outbound calling is out for me Area Code 305 South Florida. Inbound calls OK. I can make an outbound call when I reset MJ. But only one call per reset. If I want to make more calls then I have to do a reset before making a new call. It's 1:40PM Easten Time.

Problems in 216...

Outgoing is fine, incoming I get a recording "All circuits are busy please try your call again later."

Having problems here too. I can dial out fine, but incoming callers get a busy signal or a recording saying all circuits are busy please try you call again later. I'm in the 901 area code.

Tech chat just told me they are doing audio upgrades and to look for an email in the next 24 to 48 hours. I responding "Are you kidding me, it is not going to work for 2 days." The chat then said it was ended because they had not heard from me in a long time.

We're all experiencing the same thing today so I won't add any more to that other than to say I had times it worked and many other times it did not. This is all experimental and the support seems to come from India based on discussions with support I have had. We are a long way from being able to depend on MJ for a primary phone in my opinion. Those who are still hanging in and have not returned their MJ should be willing to work through the ups and downs of a beta. I wish there were a better way to provide feedback but there does not seem to be. MJ support people want to help and seem to be very focused on getting positive feedback (survey) but have limited abilities to help us.

It's down for me too. Tried about 10 different proxies - no luck!

But I'm not cancelling anything until the concept is up and working without problems. MY Optimum Voice is never down so MJ has a long way to go until they get there.

(908) Had sporadic outgoing and any incoming calls was greeted by "goodbye" and then a quick disconnect. Rebooted computer and now magicjack device says it has no internet connection. Funny as I am posting reply right now with same computer.

Yep, same for me as well.. 410 I talked to a tech who said try again in 24 hours, engineers are aware of the problem and are working on it as we speak.
