I realize there are many posts out there related to this. I just purchased MagicJack and was curious about setting up QoS policies on my home network. I am curious as this is my main phone line and I surf the internet, use LOGMEIN to access my computer and watch HULU and stream music. I use a linksys WRT54G router, and there is a page for setting QoS (Applications and Gaming). Where I can set a PORT #. My MagicJack works fine, no issues. Just looking at what would be a better solution to provide QoS for MagicJack. I am using Timewarner RoadRunner.
I had someone mention STUN? Overall what would be a simple setup to provide a good level of QoS for magicjack in a home network. I have 2 PCs that use the internet at home. Sometimes I have a laptop connected wirelessly also. Plus my Wii is connected wirelessly also.
If anyone has set this up with a similar router, please let me know.

Best solution is to install the tomato firmware on the router. make sure you check carefully the version number on your router to find out how to go about changing out the firmware. then follow the instructions here:

for magic jack set the udp ports number up to 60000 and your calls with be clear no matter what else anyone is doing on the network. the tomato firmware has the best qos that really works
