New area codes allegedly available, 3/26
According to a message on http://www.magicjack.com/1/customercare.asp, late last night, as of 2 a.m. CST this morning, there should be new area codes available. (This morning, message has been removed.) Users trying to register a new MJ were encouraged to check back after 2 a.m. to make use of these new area codes.
Where is are code 408
The web site: http://www.magicjack.com/1/areacodes.asp says: "Active CA San Jose 408"; but when I select "California" state I don;t get "408" in drop down box.
What should I do:
(1) Stop registration and wait until I get area code 408 in the drop down box?
(2) Register using "another area code" that is also "local" to area code 408
[Here I'm looking for help, which area codes could be called from Campbell without incurring long-distance charges.]
(3) Register with any other area code and "live" with it.
Any pointers will be helpful - right now I'm in a state of flux - halfway with the registration.
(4 This bring another question - what happens if I cancel registration in between?
