Problem solved

Post by BamaPanda »

At least I hope / think it is.

The problem was half the time when I would reboot or leave the PC off overnight - on restart it would make me unplug & replug the MJ.

I tried The Startup Control Panel by Mike Lin, and I was thinking that would work ..but it still acted up.

I had just installed Win 7 and was using the MS drivers that came with it. After all, no exceptions in the device mgr. In reading here, I realized that usb ports vary in power, so I thought to use the drivers that came with my Biostar board - nVidia ..and that - so far - has done the trick. Apparently the strength of the MS drivers was just not as good as it could be.

Motto. Use the best drivers you can, designed for your PC.
