What exactly IS this "other" information? Does anyone know? I find it strange that they just leave it at "other" without telling people what exactly they're agreeing to allow MJ to use/share/whatever. Are we left to assume? Or is it mentioned somewhere?
Just spoke with two MJ reps - neither knew the answer but the first rep transferred over to the second rep that said that he couldn't disclose "private" information. The information I inquired about is not private. Telling me that they may share my address (obviously not giving away a specific address, just using the word "address" to give us a list of what "other" means), is not "disclosing personal information." The same way they explained that "registration data" may be released is the same way they need to explain (BEFORE I agree to the EULA) what this "other" information is. He said that I would have to register and then I would be supplied with this "other" information. Really? So I first have to --agree-- to the EULA and and in turn agree to allow MJ to "release" this "other" information and --then-- I (supposedly) get to know what this "other" information is?
Don't mean to be paranoid, guys, and I'm sure MJ isn't trying to underhandedly have me sell my soul, but I'm hoping at least one of you could see where I'm coming from. And hopefully one of you could provide an answer?
Im sure its all on the up & up, otherwise there would be someone complaining... They are just playing the corporate way of "safe ball" so if info does get distributed, they just say, hey, you agree'd... Im sure its something to do with sharing with law enforcement agencies if your records are ever required in criminal proceedings...
Yea', I know - but I'm still finding it very hard to go through with it not knowing. I really want to, tho', as I'll be saving a ton, obviously, and so I'm hoping someone on here can shed some light on this ambiguous wording for me.
