help with this error message

Post by haze10 »

I am running MJ on a Wyse J400 with 512K ram. It was working fine for a long time, then two things happened.
1) I tried the free Magicfeatures infinite ring back program (didn't work)
2) on one recent boot up MJ said I was lucky and had an update.

I deleted the Magicfeatures from the TC, don't know if it wrote anything to the drive or MJ somewhere else.

I have been getting this error message:

magicjack.exe -application error
The instructions at "0x1000d760" referenced memory at "0x00000001". The memory could not be 'written'.

Any idea what this is trying to tell me and how do I fix it.

thanks

Have you tried resetting (rebooting) your TC?

Yes, I have rebooted it several time. The computer as a whole, and just unplugging the MJ. The error continues.

Ok, think I solved this myself. I changed the TC to 'Write Filter Disabled' . I think with it enabled, MJ could not write to memory and so had the error. With it disabled, its been on for 4 days without an error message.
