Useless with Clear WIMAX
I'm using clearwire all works fine except the caller cannot hear me. I can hear fine, dial everything. Speedtest download is 1.95- upload is .16mbs-ping is 167. These speeds are of course not consistent.
MagicJack Useless w/WiMAX
OK..I have given it 5 months and countless hours on-line with MJ technical support. The MagicJack combination with CLEAR WiMAX DOES NOT WORK!! I have tried every setting and every combination of parameters. I wanted this to work so badly. Alas, the problems manifest themselves as dropped segments of speech both on send and receive. If anybody has the MagicFix for this, let me know...I will likely give up. My wife and mother-in-law are getting violent about this problem.

test requires latest Java installed. Be sure you choose a location near you that yields 4-6 tabs in test results. We are interested in details of Summary tab.
Ignore any security complaints from Java.
Likely you will be getting high values in jitter and packet loss which is typical of cellular based broadband systems. Not a lot you can do about it but kvetch to Clear tech support. Using another VOIP service will not cure the underlying problem with your 'net connection.
We're waiting...
Good Luck

I had trouble as well. Not just MJ, but all of my VOIP providers. My QOS was measured at about 35%. However, about a month ago, I lost all service signals for almost a day, and then when I git a signal, the first day was less than 1mbps download. The day after that, my speed went to 6mbps download and the QOS was measured at 85%. All of my VOIP units now work fine, including MJ.
If your broadband has a QOS (Quality OF Service) less than 70%, VOIP will be virtually useless.

MagicJack and Clear WiMax
I have Clear WiMax in Portland, OR. the MagicJack works fine. I had to move the Clear modem around (I have the Home Modem (Motorola)) I have 5 Lights you can test your connection at Pingtest.net I get a B+ rating and the MagicJack works great. Now before I moved the modem around and I had 2-3 lights it didn't work very well, so the Internet connection is critical. also I have a fairly new-er PC i.e. Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 with Win 7 Pro 64 bit and 4Gb memory and it works great. I also have an old win xp sp3 32bit machine 1.4Ghz Pentium 4, 786MB Memory and it doesn't work very well on it. they are all hooked up via a D-Link 615 WiFi N router using the 4port router 10/100 Ethernet connection.
I hope that gives some idea, I think moving the modem to get more consistence lights. The Clear tech that came out said that I was bouncing from three towers including across the river in Vancouver. Once I moved it I was on the right tower and everything works pretty good.
Good Luck
