Calling Cell Phones
This is very strange. For some reason, today, when I try calling a cell phone it's going directly to their voicemail. I've tried this with 2 different cell phone carriers (AT&T and Virgin Mobile). They tell me their phone is ringing but when they answer it's nothing but dead air, but on my MJ end I get voicemail.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, I experienced the exact problem from MJ calling to any AT&T cell phone, at least for my MJ in area code 206. It seems after the upgrade, MJ call server is acting weird. Give MJ another day or two, again

UPDATE: It worked for 5 minutes, then I couldn't make or receive any calls, now it's back to going straight to voice mail. I think I shall give up for the night.
I've had this thing for less than a week and this is the 2nd day with problems (the 1st day I couldn't register because of "server upgrades"). I really want to give MJ the benefit of doubt, but my family is telling me to give it up and mail it back. sigh.

Still can't call out (cell numbers go to voicemail; landlines just ring busy). Tech support said, "we're doing some upgrades...it will be fixed today." Same response I've been getting since I first plugged this in on Monday.
How often do they do these "upgrades"?
It would be nice if they sent out a mass email to everyone informing us of "possible outages due to upgrades", or something similar.
... trying to remain positive and patient.
