Annoying Screen that Pops up and Interrupts typing

Post by larryb713 »

Is there any way to stop the screen that shows contacts etc. from popping up after I hang up a call? It invariably happens about 15 seconds after I hang up while I am typing away at something. It preempts the work I am doing and I only find out after I glance at the screen to see that my last sentence or two never registered!

Thanks. I installed it and so far I see no downside. It does block the screen.

Now, after only an hour or so, MagicBlock seems to be detected by magicjack and I can no longer dial numbers on my phone while it is active. I can dial just fine when it is disabled. I have removed magicblock.

If you read the post about magicblock you would have seen the magicblock now has issues since the last mj update. In the post there is a link to the download for a tool by pcphonesoft.

Your condescending remark is unwlecome and in part unfounded. A "search for Magicblock" was interpreted by me to Google the term..which I did...and which led to my download. If you had indicated to read what was on the forum I would have done that.

Yes the SEARCH function on the top of this forum page is JUST for show.
Your logic is like searching for your car keys, which you lost in the kitchen, in the living room because the light is better.
When you need to look up a phone number do you use your local phonebook or one from another state??? Starting to see my point?
His remark was neither condensending nor unwelcome. When someone says to search, to a question posted in a forum, one would "assume" the person getting that advice knows to search said forum, NOT Google..

Your best bets are to either run magicsilence or run MJ as a service. Both have their advantages and work well.

For reference, the free Magicsilence plugin can be downloaded at http://www.magicsilence.com or http://tools.pcphonesoft.com .
