"This number has been disconnected"/can't complete

Hello!
I have a magicjack with area code 705. I am located in Canada (northeastern Ontario). When people try to call me, they get a message saying either "The number you have dialed is no longer in service" or "The call did not go through as dialed." In all cases, my magicjack rings and the caller ID shows the incoming call. However, the people calling me are getting these messages. They do not get the usual "phone is ringing" sound. I am sure a lot of people just hang up and think something is wrong with the line on my end or that I have disconnected my number, which is not true. By the way, I am able to dial out using my MJ just fine.
I "chatted" with magicjack on 28 April, 2010. The first two conversations were ended by MJ representatives, which did not help the situation. At the end of a long process, a tech named Abraham said he would have the engineers resolve the problem within 2 business days. Of course, I hope he is right, but I am cautious about this. There have been so many issues with magic jack, including a long wait for Canadian numbers, that I do not know what to think anymore.
If anyone else is having this type of issue, or has any information regarding this situation, please let me know.
Thank you very much.
