Can't call my new smartphone

I just purchased new smart phones (verizon motorola droid) for myself and my husband. The Magicjack works perfectly for all calls I make (in and out of town) but will not connect to these new cell phone numbers. When I call I hear 3 beeps and then nothing. When I try to dial using the on screen dialpad, the line is disconnected as soon as I hit the send button. Please help!!

I had that happen with T-mobile on my Black Berry for a while a few years ago, but they eventually fixed it. Like you, it was only calls from a MagicJack that was not working. It would ring and immediately go back to a dial tone.

Often this happens because new numbers are not yet in MJ's routing database. Try contacting the tech support chat folks and complain - usually they can get this taken care of or point you back to someone at Verizon to fix it.
