MJ and ATA devices still working?

Kinda getting into the game alittle late but just seen alot of ATA device users having issues in APRIL 2010 with MJ changing up its service/proxy/dns ?? So ATA owners would have to reconfig.

So my question is now MAY everything running smoothly for ATA device owners? I'd hate to have to use this USB dongle

It's been working fine for me no problems here. MJ changes the password on people occasionally but other than that just follow the directions in this forum and you should be good to go.

had MJ on linksys ATA for about 2 months, no problem. Last night while on the phone, call got dropped, and phone had no dial tone.

After dumping MJ again, found PW still was the same (allowed MJ to update as it had been on shelf for 2+ months); so that wasn't the prob.

ATA config. screen just displayed "can't connect to login server".

After a bunch of trial/error, I just changed the proxy IP addy to another close by city and connection was restored. I opt to use proxy IP Addy rather then URL to reduce delay (DNS). Does that mean the IP addy of the proxy I was using changed??

How often does this happen to peeps?
