I got my MagicJack less than a week ago. Plugged it in, figured it out, everything worked perfectly. Nothing went wrong at all... until my computer rebooted. The computer account I was on still had internet and would let MJ work, but IE didn't load, so I went one of our other accounts (there's three), and it worked... until I logged into it with MJ plugged in. My brother (computer wiz) was freaking out because the DLS(?) was changed on the router and nothing would work through it for two days, and then magically it works again. Problem is, IE only works on one account here and I'm afraid that it's going to be gone soon. I'm about to go download FireFox (as a hopeful backup), but does anyone know if this is something MagicJack could have done by itself? Changing router/modem settings on its own?
I have Charter Security Suite, and it seemed for a while to be connected to this problem. Does anyone know if those two programs don't like each other or something?
MagicJack killed IE.....?
