QUICK FIX : Annoying Advertising Window

Post by Artist3d »

Hi
I am a new customer and found that the advertising to the left was annoyingly blaring and tasteless in coloration having it constantly changing was distracting too... it did not give me a warm impression that I was a preferred paying customer getting but rather that I was somehow I'd signed up for some kind of advertising subsidization program...

The quickest way I found to disable the advertising was to position the Magic Jack software window to the far left of my screen just enough so that the advertising widow is offscreen. There, that's better duh ;-)

I did have to re-organize mydesktop icons a bit but no problem there.
Hopes this helps.

setup a desktop toolbar instead, and you can get rid of ALL the desktop items and have a NICE picture there instead too ;)

No, but the plug-in will hide the dialer, so you won't see any ads (unless it is in use).

For all intents and purposes

What is nice is that once you position it to the left and minimize it, it always pops up in the same spot masking out the advertising, so bottom line? out of site out of mind! Problem solved, nothing to download and install, ads Permanently masked out.

I realise it is pretty duh simple, but simple and effective ;-) try it.
