MJ on WinXP after Win7 upgrade

Post by TransferCutter »

I haven't tried this but maybe someone has and can advise.

Can you take your MJ from a WinXP machine, put it on a Win7 machine and run the upgrade to get it working - then put it back into the WinXP machine.

Can you or should I say, has anybody been able to switch from XP to 7 to XP and so on.

Do you have to constantly run an upgrade or does the Win7 upgrade still allow it to work on both machine?

Planning to travel this summer with my 10" netbook and take my MJ. Just hesitent to try my MJ on another machine as it's working perfectly but would like to hear from those who have been sucessfull

thanks

I have a buddy who does just that. His desktop is XP SP3 and his laptop is Win 7. He took his laptop to Switzerland and called me several times and sounded amazing. When he came home he put his MJ back into his desktop for a few days, zero problems.. No updates or anything.

Thanks for the info.

Have read how so many have had problems with Win7. Mj is working perfectly and don't want to screw it up.

Cant say I blame you. That is why I DREAD every time I see a "LUCKY YOU" update. I say to myself what did they mess up now?
All I can say is take a deep breath and go for it, sans extension cord, and see what happens.

Let me know how it goes.
