Help with Voicemail!!

Post by f9tkop »

I have Uniden Dect 6.0 I have setup the voicemail according to the info from magicjack (*1234 stuff). The problem is, when i try to listen to the message it does not say who called me ( phone number). It just says the message and time i recieved it. Is this how magicjack works or its the phone itself?

Thanks

When you get your email telling you you have a VM, there is the # who called you in the email. Unless they leave their # in the VM I dont see how you can get their # if your phone was off and you didnt get it via called ID. So as I said if you missed the call and it goes to VM you will get an email telling you so. Look in the email message and you will see the # of who called you.
Unless I am missing what you are trying to do.

You can also get the number of the caller by using the voicemail system with the telephone. After listening to a message, press 3 for advanced options. Then press 3. Then It will tell you the date, the time, and the number of the person who called. Hopes this helps.
