Even if MJ isn't reliable enough as a primary line, here are my 10 reasons that MJ is a keeper:
1. Unlimited calls to U.S. and Canada; don't need a LD plan on my main phone.
2. Good, cheap secondary line.
3. Good backup for primary line.
4. Good number to give to those that you don't want to have your primary number.
5. Number to call to test new phones (using VM) without bugging someone else.
6. Take along when visiting friends or relatives (who have broadband, of course).
7. A new toy. (How could one have so much fun for $47?)
8. Something to make your landline-bound friends drool when you mention the price.
9. A reason to be pro-MJ rather than anti-MJ on this forum.
10. It makes you appreciate the reliability of your primary phone service and
realize you'd never give it up for this bug-ridden service on a stick.

My top 10 reasons to buy MJ:
1. a new toy to play with
2. the buggier the better (ok, that's a lie but it's close)
3. to use my PC's spare CPU cycle otherwise left unused
4. it's a stress reducer after long day at work
5. to join the Unofficial MagicJack Forum and pretend I'm a geek
6. to use MJ service with ATA when BYOD is offered
7. to confuse all my friends/relative when I tell them I have a new phone number
8. an excuse to buy yet another new multi-handset/single base phone system to verify MJ's caller-ID issue
9. an excuse to buy a new PC (hey honey, my PC is too old to run MJ 24/7)
10. just to see for myself if MJ is as good as it's advertised (related to reason #1)

My Top 10 reasons:
1. Cheaper than Verizon, AT&T, Sprint or even Skype!
2. Unlimited calls to the USA & Canada!
3. Free calls to the USA & Canada while travelling overseas.
4. A phone I could carry while on local and international travels.
5. Friends can afford to call me while I'm outside the USA.
6. I don't have a home phone right now.
7. A secondary number that I could give to anyone who don't deserve my mobile phone number.
8. New toy to tinker with.
9. Callers won't know exactly whether I'm home or on the road.
10. Saves me lots of ca$h!
Unfortunately, the toy I ordered never reached me.
MJ never delivered the package but still they tried to charge me 26 days after I ordered the product.
It's not even 30 days and I did not even had the chance to visually inspect the product, let alone test it.
