Hi,
Is international dialing with MJ working to a non-MJ number?
If not does anyone know when it might start working?
I have been unable to call internationally for about four days.
Oh well!

down again?
We were able to call internationally (Spain) last week several times and it hasn't worked now for a couple of days. We reset the mj (unplugged it, plugged it back in) but it made no difference. Anyone managing to make intl calls? My husband chatted with tech support and he said they were clueless.

But I'm not asking about prepaid cards, I'm asking about international calling direct-dialed with the magicjack (using prepaid minutes). It was working as of 3 or so days ago, it no longer is.banaa007 wrote: I am calling since long time with prepaid cards.Call quality was good but went poor.It works.
I haven't reached my friend in France yet but he's probably not around. HOWEVER, I'M GETTING CHARGED FOR THE ATTEMPTS. Anyone else notice that? I prepaid $5, and tried twice to reach him the other day, but it just rang. No answering machine or voicemail. Today when I tried again, it said I had 248 minutes left, not 250. Yet another half-ass thing about this company. OK I guess I can suck it up and accept paying two cents for every failed attempt to reach someone overseas, given that options like 101-6868 charge 10 cents/minute and now have a surcharge. But Vonage is FREE to France and other places. And Vonage has working voicemail for Mac users (even sends me an email with the audio of the message). And Vonage doesn't require me to keep my computer on for 24 hours a day if a Mac customer (like me) doesn't want calls going to voicemail (I want them going to my answering machine). But of course Vonage costs more in a month than MagicJack does in a year. And thus my internal debate continues throughout this trial month.
