One way audio and Bad audio

If you are using a router or if youhave an Internet security suite installed on your computer you need to open the magicJack ports 5060,5070,49152 and 65535 UDP. After adding those ports restart your magicJack and try placing a call.

Maybe for some people but not for everyone. 2 Years ago I plugged my MJ in and it has worked fine ever since. I didnt have to open any ports. None on my router nor in my firewall....

Again not everyone... My buddy Bob biught his MJ a month after me HAS a security suite ( firewall, etc....) uses Verizon and has a Motorola Surfboard modem and didn't have to open any ports.. So your mileage may vary..
