I just purchased my magicJack and have been trying to use it for days. I've registered, can see my phone number and my contacts/previous "calls", but can't get any further past these two messages:
"Signing In"
"Please connect to the Internet and double click here [error 3]"
I've tried a few things, like running the upgrade from magicJack's website, adding reg.talk4free.com and *.magicjack.com to my trusted sites, deleting a select few folders in AppData and clearing the virtual USB disk, but nothing.
Any help for somebody who's done his homework but still needs the prof's help?
Stuck on "signing in" screen

Could be a firewall issue........Try adding MagicJack.exe to your trusted apps in your firewall settings.
Also make sure you are using a REAR USB port and if you are using the extension cord which came with your Mj, dont as it can cause MANY problems. Lastly if all else fails a POWERED USB hub, couldn't hurt.
Can you try your MJ on another PC? If it works there then it is obviously something on your PC holding it down.

I solved it installing Hot Spot Shield, that makes a tunnel given me another IP. In my case, I am in Nicaragua, and the ISP blocked it, so this is the way how I get it works.

I am trying to find another way, because every couple of hours the IP restore to the original and the MJ stucks again in "signing in" until I run that app again.

Try using a service like dyndns that will give your machine a 'fixed' ip address even though your ISP may change it.micrberg wrote:I solved it installing Hot Spot Shield, that makes a tunnel given me another IP.
