Just curious if the resistor CID dohickies work after 8/20 upgrade?

No I was, thinking about getting one because the software issues with the upgrades concerns me. I paid for two of those software packages and now both have stopped working. The most important feature of the software, for me, is the caller ID.

Yes, I bought one from ebay and it still works like a charm.
I would get a resistor instead of the software if you were debating b/t the two!
It still works great, because it doesn't really depend on the MJ software. It just does whatever it does w/ the line.
I tried the magicfeatures before I bought the resistor and it did not fix my CID problem, but the resistor did the trick!
