Phone never stops ringing...
Ever since the CID Fix for Mac update when someone calls my Magicjack the voicemail picks up in 4 rings but by phone never stops ringing. Anyone else having this problem? Also I have been using this MJ for almost 3 years now and this just started recently. I plugged my Magicjack into a computer running XP and the same thing happens.

I've had the problem twice. First time I added a second phone and thought it was ringer equivellance. The last time I added a powered hub.

I read about your problem yesterday and they are not the same. From reading your post I assumed you may be a new user, I have been using the same MJ for over 2 years on the same computer, my problem started with their forced upgrade yesterday. When someone calls me and I answer the phone everything is fine. It's when someone calls me and hangs up after a ring or two or I let the call go to voicemail. The call will go to voicemail after 4 rings as it should BUT the softphone doesn't know that, still asks to accept or reject the call and my phone will ring forever even after the caller has hung up. I tested this on Mac and on a Windows computer yesterday. I even formatted my MJ and tried an old firmware version but as soon as your MJ connects to the net MJ forces the new update on you and the new update is what is causing my problem. I have contacted support about this and surprisingly they were no help at all lmao. I even emailed Dan and some guy named Arnold was helping me but quit after 10 emails. I am in my 3rd year of MJ and if this cant be corrected soon I may have to switch to something else because this is annoying.
Problem solved, I am running a Linksys WRT54GS router and Tomato Firmware corrected the problem. Found the solution in this thread.
