MJ won't start automatically

Hi all. Hoping someone can help. MJ works fine as long as I remember to click on the MJ icon to start it after each computer boot. It won't start automatically. Live chat was absolutely no help. I did the following from their help section but no go. Thanks for any thoughts.

WINDOWS XP USERS:

1. Please go to control panel, click folder options, click the tab named view, check View hidden files and folders, click apply, click OK, and close control panel.
2. Go to C:>documents and settings>[your name]> Application Data> mjusbsp> in00000.
3. Copy the file named setup and close that folder.
4. Click the Start button, click All Programs, right click the startup folder, and choose open all users and paste the setup file into that folder.
5. Your magicJack will now start on bootup.

Does your Magic Jack start up if you are at the desktop? Try plugging in the device when you are at the desktop. If that doesn't work, your autorun might be disabled. Turning it back on requires tampering with the registry. You can do a google search on how to enable autorun. Hope this helps.

Ours started doing the same thing on two of our computers. When plugged in it opens up a window showing the files in the magicjack folder. I have to click on autorun.exe to make it work. I have gone through the registry checks and autorun seems to be on, on both computers. I even used the Microsoft autorun checker program and it found nothing wrong. On our dedicated computer it auto starts, but when there comes a time it is down for any reason, I need to be able to use it on one of the other computers and it would be nice if it started automatically on them. Any ideas on why it stopped on these two computers? Sounds like I might have the same problem too.
