I having a problem with the Magicjack where I cannot dial and make calls using an external phone connected to the Magicjack. I have tried to contact the customer service but as reported by many other people they are of no use.
I am running the Magic Jack on an HP t5710. I can call using the onscreen keypad and I can receive and answer calls using an external phone, but when i try to dial with the external phone, nothing happens. I have tried to change the voice and volume controls setting to telephone from Headset/other, but the program doesn't allow me to select telephone. Thanks.

Sounds like your dongle is defective. Have you tried it with another computer? Are you using the extension cord? Don't use the extention cord as it can cause many problems with your magic jack. Go to radio shack or another store and buy another one. Before you plug it in, contact MJ chat and they will help you transfer the number to the MJ.theom wrote:Hmm possibly, they had me trying to reset drivers and stuff but it never did anything.
