Slow Dial-pad Interface

Post by ruaduck »

My interface on a Windows 7 Computer is going really slow. It takes about 1 minute for it to dial a number and if i want to type it in on the dial pad it takes about the same time because of being able to put it in. i click on one number and then it almost dies and then 10 secs later i can put in the next number. It is very slow and i was wondering if this is a solvable problem.

It might help to know what kind of a system you're running, such as OS (Windows XP, 7, Vista, 32- or 64-bit), how much memory, hard disk space, wireless router, DSL, satellite Internet connection, etc.

It sounds like you have other processes hogging your CPU so it can't process your input very quickly. Is anything else showing signs of slowing down on your PC? Have you checked for viruses, spyware, malware, etc.?

I have 6 gb ram, Windows 7, 2.3 ghz quad core processor with 3 TB of HD space. My wireless is through my Qwest DSL Modem. There are no malicious things on my computer and everything runs fast on it. I'm sure i play games that are alot more high tech than this USB modem and interface. The only thing that goes slow and has a problem is MJ.

It's possible you might have to remove the MJ from your system and reinstall it to see if that resets it. I'm not aware of anyone else having this problem on the forum.
