Please check this setting for me in your control panel.

Would someone please check this out for me?

1. In windows xp control panel double click sounds and audio devices

2. Under the audio tab click on the check mark under sound recording and select usb internet phone by tigerjet.

3. Now click on the volume tab and let me know if you can adjust the volume all the way up and down.

Just cancel out of that window and no settings will be changed.

I can only adjust my volume for my phone 25%-75% and I believe this is what is causing my audio output to be so low.
Would anyone know why this is happening?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,

Mine has the same reactions as yours, and does not allow adjustment too high, or too low. But, I've not had complaints of audio too low.

Perhaps you can try a different telephone.

I'm sure you've looked here already, but if not:

If you go into your MJ and hit the Menu button, there is Volume/Headset Control... In mine, I've turned up the microphone slider at the bottom to the very top. Not sure if I did that, actually, or it was defaulted like that. What about yours?

If nothing else, then you might try the Tech Chat and see if they have any solutions. Perhaps they can replace your device, or something.

Best of luck.

Been there done all that, and I do believe a replacement is the next step. Still within warranty period.
Thanks again.

Go to Control Panel in XP, Sounds and Audio, Properties, and look to see if there is a device selected. Mine said, "No Audio Device", so I had to go to the "audio" tab and reselect my sound card. Apparently when I put the MJ in it cancelled out my card.
