Blue light comes on but goes out-won't load

Have been using my magicjack for about 20 months and it has worked great and the only fix I did was the one for the caller id back when I first got it.

The internet went out in my neighborhood and when it came back on yesterday- my magicjack won't load.

When I put it in the USB the light turns blue but after a few seconds it disappears, so the software phone won't load.

But what's more crazy- I had to change out my USB cord to the modem to Ethernet.

So it must be the USB, right?

Any tips on how to check and restore them?

Somebody else had this problem. It is a defective MJ. You should chat MJ Support and have them replace it for you. Note: If you buy a new MJ at a retail store, you shouldn't plug in the MJ right away. You will need to chat support and they should help you transfer your old MJ number to your new MJ. . I would also try to plug your MJ into another computer.
